It is always a pain when our normal routines are interrupted.  Canada Post Employees have recently begun a serious of rotating strikes. Global News.  Like the majority of the insurance industry, Crosbie Job Insurance relies heavily on Canada Post to deliver documents to you and the rest of our clients.  As a result, we are putting contingency plans into place to minimize any disruptions that might occur.

Many of our clients have been asking us for digital options and we have been working with our Broker Management Software System Provider to be able to deliver your policy documents via email. The potential disruption of mail services has made this feature our priority. I anticipate that we will be rolling out this option in the near future allowing you to access your documents instantly (provided we have your email address!).

Additionally, as mentioned in many of my past emails, we have two eservices already at your disposal:

1. Our Customer Portal (found here)

2. Our Smart Phone App (search Crosbie Job for the Android and ios App ).

Accessing these digital tools will help to minimize any disruptions you have to your insurance lives.  They are open 24/7, 365 days of the year.  Why leave yourself at the mercy of Canada Post when you can access your home and auto insurance in the digital world.

Both tools provide access to the majority of our personal lines policies and documents.  As well, they provide electronic copies of your pink liability cards. The best way to set up these e-services is to contact Christopher Ralph in our head office either at 709-758-8280 (or 1-866-758-8280) or email at  [email protected].  He will work with you to get this up and running so you will have your insurance documents at your finger tips.

In regards to making payments, we will make every effort over the next few weeks to make sure that we can avoid disruption.  Perhaps the easiest solution (if you are not already using this) is to go on direct bill/pre-authorized deductions where your insurer makes the deductions from your bank account or credit card (if they offer it).

I hope we can work together to minimize any problems if the mail service is affected.  Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your broker representative or our head office. You can count on us.  You can Sleep Easy. We’ve Got You Covered.
